To keep communities safe, Fred Jung has overseen the hiring of 66 police officers since 2020.
Addressing rising 911 call volumes, Mayor Fred Jung pushed for major investments in new firefighters and paramedics, including hiring 39 new firefighters since 2020.

Expanding programs like rides with OCTA for students going to school, or seniors going to medical appointments, we need to find ways to make the County helpful in the lives of real people.
Realizing the major cost of living drivers, we need to find creative new solutions to reducing housing and healthcare costs.
According to the OC Register, "Fred Jung turned a $9 million deficit into an opportunity to modernize city government, stabilize finances, and reinvest in infrastructure." That kind of record is why Fred has earned the support from Orange County business and labor leaders.

Few in Orange County have done as much as Fred Jung to protect Orange County's climate future. As a Founding Boardmember of the Orange County Power Authority, Fred has helped remove enough carbon from the atmosphere equal to taking about 200,000 cars off the roads.
As a Member of both the Metropolitan Water District and the Orange County Water District, Fred Jung has worked hard to make sure OC residents always have reliable access to clean and affordable drinking water.
Parks and Preservation: Fred Jung has spent years investing in building new parks and setting aside open space for land preservation.
